- Al onze Van Gogh reproducties worden op ouderwetse wijze geschilderd met penseel in olieverf op doek. Net zoals Van Gogh het deed. Je zult in het begin de olieverf nog kunnen ruiken!
- Hoe zijn de levertijden?
- Als het schilderij in voorraad is wordt het vaak dezelfde dag al aangetekend verstuurd. Bekijk hier de schilderijen in voorraad.
Schilderijen op bestelling hebben zo'n 6 weken nodig voordat ze klaar zijn en droog om te versturen.
- Worden de schilderijen verstuurd met lijst?
- Nee, we sturen de schilderijen opgerold in een harde plastic koker. Dit biedt optimale bescherming. We kunnen je eventueel een goede lijstenmaker in Amsterdam aanbevelen. Wel hebben we een selectie kleine schilderijen met antieke lijsten.

- Kunnen we Van Gogh Studio bezoeken in Amsterdam?
- We hebben geen galerie op het moment. Wel kun je terecht bij Bistrot Neuf op de haarlemmerstraat 9 voor een Van Gogh menu lunch. Tijdens de lunch hangen geschilderde replica’s van Van Gogh Studio om je heen aan de muur.

Over dit schilderij
Vincent van Gogh painted his masterpiece from the asylum in Saint-Rémy: "In the foreground a field of wheat, ravaged and knocked to the ground after a storm… It’s a landscape of extreme simplicity — in terms of coloration as well. It would be suitable as a pendant to that study of the bedroom.”
So Vincent was looking for contrast here. His bedroom in Arles is quite a complex painting in terms of colors, angles and objects. To Van Gogh this matches well with the simplicity of the landscape. The same thing applies with the frame. This antique gold-plated frame in Louis XV| style is made of multi layer lime wood and originates from early 20th century France. The rich decorations give the peaceful scenery just what it needs.
The frame is in good condition. At the bottom left one piece of ornament is missing as shown in the photos and video.
